CLIENT WORK

From circular materials to autonomous vehicles to rural electrification, the pattern is the same. The technology works. The system around it doesn’t. I help climate-tech companies find product-system fit: the coordination between stakeholders, standards, procurement pathways, and market infrastructure that turns a working product into a commercial one.

Communication
Infrastructure

Missing pieces of information stalled a mobile data centre infrastructure project in Africa. The stakeholders who needed to move forward had lost alignment, and without someone to bridge the gaps the entire deployment was at risk. I identified the critical allies, brokered the right introductions to restart negotiations, and brought in a trusted contact on the ground to manage the realities of deploying in that market.

Highlights:

  • Realigned stakeholders across government and technology teams
  • Launched national-scale mobile data centre deployment
  • Government adopted the technology

Autonomous Electric
Vehicles

A European autonomous vehicle company had a market entry strategy, but it was full of regulatory barriers, safety concerns, and timelines that would stall them for years. Their approach wasn’t wrong, but the environment wasn’t ready for it. I developed an alternative: target logistics facilities with large private yards where vehicles could operate without the same regulatory hurdles. I secured a pilot, and it converted.

Highlights:

  • Developed commercial strategy that removed key regulatory barriers
  • Targeted logistics facilities with large private yards
  • Secured pilot that converted to multiple site deployement

Modular Power
Generation

A former client was working with a consultant deploying solar systems in Brazil under the Mais Luz para a Amazônia program. The path to deployment didn’t exist yet. Government program alignment, in-country partnerships, and BYD supplying solar all needed to come together. This was a coordination problem, not a technical one. I mapped the stakeholders and got systems into the field.

Highlights:

  • Stakeholder alignment across government and local operators
  • Deployment structured for remote communities
  • Clean power reaching communities with no grid connection

Commercial Air Purification
Systems

An air purification company built for clinical environments saw demand explode when COVID hit. New sectors, new buyers, new procurement processes, and every project on a compressed timeline. The company knew how to sell into clinics. They didn’t have the coordination infrastructure to deploy across unfamiliar sectors nationally. I brought cross-sector feedback, managed the parties, supported product developmen,t and deployment coast to coast.

Highlights:

  • Cross-sector market intelligence shaped expansion strategy
  • Coordinated deployment across healthcare, commercial, and institutional buyers
  • Supported rollout of several projects in multiple sectors coast to coast

Sustainability embedded in
Real Estate

Worked with the Keller Williams country-level broker in Costa Rica to structure a cross-border acquisition by a Nicaraguan family purchasing the Costa Rican organization. Before the merger, the entity needed to be more attractive. Partnerships, sustainable development practices at active projects including circular materials, and a revenue share platform that funded conservation efforts across the country, including youth education and tropical dry forest conservation.

Highlights:

  • Cross-border M&A coordination between Nicaraguan and Costa Rican entities
  • Sustainable development practices integrated into active real estate projects
  • Revenue share platform funding national conservation efforts

British Columbia
Innovation Coalition

Housing affordability in BC involves dozens of stakeholders who all touch the same problems but rarely sit in the same room. I founded the BC Innovation Coaltion to have more of those conversations. Two launch events have brought the ecosystem together for real conversation. The third event is going deeper: mapping the decision points and downstream impacts along the development to identify exactly where constraints enter the system.

Highlights:

  • Two of three launch events completed, building cross-sector momentum
  • Third event mapping the 4-over-2 development process to pinpoint where constraints enter
  • Framework designed to scale across housing typologies
